How The Music Is Made
If you've caught a Jax Streeter Show you might be wondering how the music is being made. Jax uses a variety of instruments and digital equipment to bring you as live an experience as possible without micing up an entire band. Jax uses sequencing software from Cakewalk along with a Roland keyboard to play and arrange all of the drums, bass lines, piano and strings and general synthesiser sounds. The software then triggers all of the programmed arrangements live and is played through a Korg D16 digital multi-track and streamed to you the audience. To further enhance the live experience, Jax plays guitar or piano along with the tracks as well of course singing live vocals at each show. "Taking advantage of what technology has to offer has really opened up opportunities for artists like me to play live to people all over the world", says Jax. "No more packing up the gear and heading to the local dive to play, Im on a Global stage right from my studio instantly, its amazing". |
